John Crowley

I grew up in a small town in Vermont, where I made many friends and connected to the winter sports culture through alpine ski racing. I played a wide variety of sports through high school and college while learning a great deal with regard to perseverance, competition, goal setting, teamwork and respect.

During college, I studied communications and economics and later went to graduate school at the University of Vermont. Afterward, I was presented with an opportunity to work in management with a biocomputational startup in the San Francisco Bay Area, which at the time was founded to work with both the National Institutes of Health and private companies who were "racing" to complete the sequencing of the human genome.

It was a very exciting time to be in this field and the startup was later acquired by a Silicon Valley company whose customers included global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as world renown academic research organizations. My specialized role focused on market research and competitive intelligence, where I frequently interacted with the marketing, corporate planning, intellectual property and investor relations functions.

Eventually, given my background and interest in outdoor sports and activities, I began considering my next career move. This led to utilizing my professional experience and abilities in a management role with REI, where I earned awards for authenticity, balance, integrity, quality, respect and service.

My wife and I moved to Boise in 2014 and I began working with Keller Williams to ensure that this area would become our lifetime home. We are very pleased to be closer to family and to have easy access to the outdoor areas we enjoy, particularly for skiing and bicycle riding.

I am very energized to be applying all of my professional skills to residential real estate, where I am working to meet clients' goals while providing them the best possible service experience.
